This Privacy Policy explains how LAYE handles personal information when customers discover events, create accounts, purchase tickets, manage communication preferences and use tickets or QR codes.

This Policy applies to LAYE customer-facing services, including event discovery, account services, checkout, ticketing and the customer dashboard.

2. Information we collect

Account information

Name, email, telephone, account credentials and profile information you choose to provide.

Ticketing information

Events viewed, ticket selections, reservations, purchases, promo codes, ticket status and check-in activity.

Technical information

IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, security logs and diagnostics needed to operate and protect the service.

3. How we use information

  • Create and manage customer accounts.
  • Process reservations, orders and refunds.
  • Generate tickets and QR codes.
  • Deliver tickets and transaction messages.
  • Prevent fraud and unauthorized access.

  • Provide support and improve LAYE.

4. Payments

Payment transactions may be processed by external payment providers. LAYE may receive transaction identifiers, amount, currency, status and refund information needed to manage the order.

5. Tickets & QR codes

Ticket identifiers and QR codes may be linked to the associated order, event and customer account. Do not publicly post a QR code unless an authorized transfer process expressly permits it.

6. Marketing preferences

LAYE may support promotions from organizers to past customers in accordance with customer preferences.

Email

Promotional email may be sent where permitted and can be disabled using available preference controls.

SMS

Promotional SMS should only be enabled after required consent is provided. Customers may withdraw consent through available settings or opt-out mechanisms.

In-app

LAYE may display recommendations or promotional messages inside the customer dashboard when enabled.

Transactional communications: payment, security, ticket delivery, refund and critical event messages may still be sent when necessary to provide the service.

7. Information sharing

Limited information may be shared with event organizers, payment processors, communication providers, hosting/security providers and authorities where legally required. Organizers should receive only information reasonably necessary for the event or permitted marketing purpose.

8. Data retention

LAYE retains information as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain transaction and ticket records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

9. Security

LAYE uses administrative and technical measures intended to protect customer data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Privacy choices & rights

Depending on applicable law and location, customers may have rights such as access, correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal, transaction, security or fraud-prevention reasons.

11. Cookies & browser storage

LAYE may use cookies, session storage and local storage to support login, preserve ticket selections during checkout, remember preferences and protect the platform. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or remove an unfinished checkout selection.

12. Children

Event age requirements may vary. Where parental or guardian involvement is legally required, customers must follow those requirements.

13. International processing

LAYE may operate across multiple countries and use providers in different jurisdictions. Appropriate safeguards should be used where required for cross-border data handling.

14. Policy updates

This Policy may be updated as LAYE services, privacy practices or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version.
